The writings in this zine were done during a KW Article Club meet-up, where we explored Arielle Bernstein's Atlantic article, "Marie Kondo and the Privilege of Clutter.” We discussed how our things inform our senses of self and explored how minimalism, both as a trend and as an art movement, speak to the subjective and political nature of what constitutes cleanliness and harmony in our public and private spaces. We then created a zine to honour the objects we’ve lost, both intentionally and unintentionally, and shared stories about the stuff of past and present that make our spaces worth inhabiting.
